yep rendered in 60fps and quadHD at least so when we fullscreen we can see 1080p not this 720p upscaled b/s. Just look at Soul Land a 720p video vs. a 1080p source is night and day.

Well, there is good news for you. Animation is at 1000/5000 chapter (not finished yet). And this is where boring part ends. In terms of RPG, hero just finished the boring fetch quests and exited the starting village. This trip to this secret realm is where story finally starts evolving.

So far at ch.5000 plot is still connected, consistent and still opening. It is not known who the bad guys really are, but plot is well taken care of to answer opened questions before too many new pop up and yet there is always just the right amount of opened questions to keep the story intriguing and engaging. Also, animation follows novel 1:1

nice I dropped many donghua 300+ episodes. From Perfect World, Wu Dong Qian Kun, Douluo Dalu,Quanzhi Fashi, BTTH, Throne of Seal, etc... Martial Master is the only donghua I've been watching since 2021ish.

Agree on most, except WDQK and BTTH.

WDKQ suffered greatly because first animators didn't follow the story and cut content without any thinking. Studio has changed now and 3rd season is much better (still not as faithful as WSZZ, but much better than before)

Also, both are at the same stage of story as WSZZ. Hero finally leaves the starting village to meet the story plot. BTTH especially, even before this season I warned it is by far most boring part of the novel. Whole thing concludes after he destroys sect.

Also, you need to watch TGR, BTTH and WDQK as one story in multiple novels to get the whole plot

no it's just boring, also I don't find the MC heroic. I might have dropped it just like "A Will Eternal" the MC in there doesn't grow up so I just don't like those "devious" types, sort of like "Yang Guo". It's just some of the MC in donghua don't have the basic, fundamentals of kung fu or even defense down. Sorta of like orphan kids with cheat codes. Norman Chu still my idea Chad MC, so I guess donghua in this age just fails me since 99% of them are incel korean boys.

Very strange actions/ inaction

If you know cma novels, it is not strange. In those, people cultivate against heaven and when they reach certain level, heaven invokes punishment. But, at that point anyone interfering (helping, attacking or just being close will suffer even worse punishment. You could call this heavens pride as ants should not meddle in heavens affairs). QC simply used the third rule and started chasing them to redirect his tribulation onto other people

Tribulation in cma novels acts as punishment from heaven for breaking the set power rules, aka. heaven can only allow so much power. And the stronger one is, the stronger the tribulation... and QC is a lot stronger than person at his level. If you notice that he fought (and won) few martial kings while he was only at half MK.

This gets obvious later before his ascension. Normally, people ascend when they reach Diety level when person is too strong for plane to support him (pretty much, too strong person can collapse whole plane and this is why they are rejected), QC on the other hand starts causing power problems long before that

Makes sense reminds me of another donghua, where the MC reduces his power or immortal body so he does not crash the lower plane. When he fought with someone by releasing a certain amount of his cultivation even though he asked someone to help control the influx he still created a huge crack.

I can’t wait to see what Qin Shen will do. Hopefully it won’t take 100+ episodes to get there

Didn't you see what happened to all the enemies once Qin Chen rushed near them? The Lightning Tribulation OBLITERATED them. Also as another commenter said, interfering with a Tribulation is just asking for divine punishment.
